Glenn Mills and Barbara Hummel wanted to share their love of swimming and their love of teaching swimming. GoSwim started as a traditional video production business, but evolved into an online service. By 2011, the growth of online videos suggested the move toward the internet.
In 2012, GoSwim created the first swimming specific subscription website. For a nominal fee, users could get access to over 40 DVDs, and have immediate access. Since then, GoSwim has created it's team sharing service, where coaches can share a video everyday to their swimmers, and Deckshots, a system in which a coach can film their swimmers with an iPhone and quickly share that video privately to the athlete. It's the fastest, simplest and safest video sharing platform for swimmers.
GoSwim has never gone away from it's service oriented attitude. With 140,000 YouTube subscribers, 130,000 Instagram followers, and over 160,000 Facebook fans, GoSwim serves nearly 100,000 videos everyday.
